BLUESETTE

The Bluesette is an acoustic archtop guitar with a simplified design: the embellishments and trim are kept to a minimum, while the acoustic presence and playability are maintained. The tonewoods are high quality curly maple and Sitka spruce, aged for at least ten years in our humidity controlled shop. The neck is curly maple or Honduras mahogany, depending on customer preference. The body has three-ply purfling, with un-bound f-holes, and as with all my archtops can be configured with a shallower depth of body, from 1 1/2″ sides to full depth of 3″. The ebony fingerboard is bound in ebony. Custom electronics available.

BIRD OF PARADISE

The Bird Of Paradise model is a semi-solid body electric guitar that features carved curly maple top and back plates with a Honduras mahogany core. The body is 60% solid, providing excellent sustain without the unnecessary weight of a solid body and without the feedback problems inherent in many acoustic/electrics. The balance of the guitar is excellent, and at approximately 7 1/2 pounds, it is comfortable to hold for longer periods of time. Also available with f-hole. Pickups and electronics are by customer’s specifications.
